About Us

We believe everyone has the right to get where they need to go –

Gentle Medical was founded by Joseph Kungu and Lucinda Marcelino in 2019 to provide safe, reliable, and gentle non-emergency medical and personal transportation services for all Massachusetts towns.

We provide services for seniors, people living with disabilities, and anyone seeking personalized transportation services.

Our drivers

Our professional drivers have clean driving records and have completed training for defensive driving, consumer sensitivity, and wheelchair securement. If they detect any unsafe situation, they’ll call the emergency contact that we have on file.

Services for MassHealth customers

Gentle Medical is qualified to provide Human Service Transportation (HST) to eligible MassHealth consumers who are going to medical appointments with MassHealth providers to get MassHealth-covered services. You cannot request these services directly from us; you must contact your MassHealth provider to find out if you’re eligible.
